COUNCIL “BROWN BAGEL” WORK SESSION, DECEMBER 12, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
The December 12, 2013, Brown Bagel W ork Session was convened at 7:31 A.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Henry, Mihalevich, Prather, Schulte, and Scrivner
Arrived Late: *Carroll (7:37 A.M.)
Absent: Bray, Graham, and Hussey
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Henry stated he may not be able to attend the December 16 meeting.
Mr. Allen Pollock, Executive Director of the Jefferson City Housing Authority, explained
the item pertaining to the Housing America presentation appearing on the agenda.
*Councilwoman Carrie Carroll arrived during the staff presentation of Bill 2013 -119 (7:37
A.M.)
2013-110 (wastewater agreement with Holts Summit) – Matt Morasch answered
questions about the rate structure. He will also get further information and email it to the
Council before Monday night’s meeting.
Closed Session – Real Estate: Interim City Administrator Drew Hilpert explained that one
of the topics scheduled to be discussed are the bids received on property at 720 Clark
Avenue. He indicated he would be willing to discuss it either in open or closed session,
depending upon the Council’s preference.
