SPECIAL MEETING
November 20, 2007
The Moab City Council held a Special Joint City Council/City Planning
Commission Meeting on the above date in the Council Chambers of
Moab City Offices, located at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah.
Mayor David L. Sakrison called the Pre -Council Workshop to order at
6:04 PM.
In attendance were Councilmembers Keith Brewer, Rob Sweeten, Kyle
Bailey, Gregg Stucki and Jeffrey Davis. In attendance from Moab City
Planning Commission were Commissioners Dave Wood, Rodney
Taylor, Kara Dohrenwend, Wayne Hoskisson, and Jeanette Kopell.
Also in attendance were City Manager Donna Metzler, City
Recorder/Assistant City Manager Rachel Ellison, Planning Director Jeff
Reinhart, Community Development Director David Olsen, Planning
Assistant/Zoning Administrator Sommar Johnson and Administrative
Analyst/Economic Development Specialist Kenneth F. Davey. Five
members of the audience and media were present.
A presentation was made regarding Proposed Ordinance #2007-10 — An
Ordinance Creating Chapter 17.80 of the Moab Municipal code
Enacting Supplementary Regulations for Large Scale Retail
Developments over 30,000 square feet. Discussion followed.
A presentation was made regarding Planning Process Issues.
Discussion followed.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special meeting at 7:59 PM.
