Present: Chairwoman Andrea Lewis, Vice Chairwoman Frances Harris, George Campbell, Tim Logue, Liz
Waters and Greg Yavelak (ex officio)
Absent: Casey Collins and Bryan Stuart
Item 1: Call to order, roll call, and confirmation of quorum
Chairwoman Lewis called the meeting to order at 9 a.m. Ms. Trueblood called the roll and confirmed the
presence of a quorum.
Item 2: Tour of Chatham Mills pollinator garden
Agriculture Agent Debbie Roos of the Chatham County Center of North Carolina Cooperative Extension led the
tour. She created the demonstration garden, which features more than 180 species of perennials, trees, shrubs,
vines and grasses — 85 percent of which are native to this state.
Item 3: Adjourn
Motion: Chairwoman Lewis moved to adjourn the meeting at 11:05 a.m.
Second: Vice Chairwoman Harris seconded.
Vote: Unanimous
