A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, PALM
BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE PRESENT
PENSION PLAN OF THE TOWN BY PROVIDING THAT
CONTRIBUTIONS OF EMPLOYEES SHALL BE VOLUNTARY
RATHER THAN MANDATORY.
WHEREAS, a meeting of the Town Commission of the Town
of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held on the 10th day of September,
1982, and
WHEREAS, there was presented to the Town Commission the
need to amend the IDS Prototype Pension Plan used by the Town
for the benefit of the employees of the Town.
WHEREAS, it was determined that the Plan should be
amended so as to provide for voluntary contributions to the Plan
instead of mandatory contributions by employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Commission
of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida;
Section 1. The IDS Prototype Pension Plan is hereby
amended in the manner and form represented by the document attached
hereto and executed by the Mayor of the Town of Gulf Stream.
Section 2. The purpose and intent of this Amendment is
to implement employee voluntary contributions instead of mandatory
contributions.
Section 3. All other portions of the IDS Prototype
Pension Plan shall remain intact and unchanged.
