A RESOLUTION OF ~ CITY COUNCII~ OF THE CITY OF LYN-WOOD
APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
LYNV~OOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND FRANCISCO R. JOSEPH &
ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE HOUSING REHABILITATION SERVICES FUNDED
UNDER THE HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP (HOME) PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood administers an Affordable Housing Program with
funding from the Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Program pursuant to Section 24 CFR,
Part 92 of the Federal Regulations; and,
Whereas, the City of Lynwood has determined the need to contract for professional
services to administer the Affordable Housing Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the procurement process for Housing
Rehabilitation Services according to the Federal Procurement Standards provided in Section 24
CFR Part 85 of the regulations; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council proposes to enter into a Professional Services Agreement
with a qualified fn-m to assist the City in providing affordable housing opportunities to low
income residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as
follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the Professional Services Agreement between the
Lynwood Redevelopment Agency and Francisco R. Joseph & Associates to provide Housing
Rehabilitation Services for 'the Affordable Housing Program. and funded under the Home
Investment Partnership (HOME) Program.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoPtion.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 2004.
