A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF $50,768 FROM
THE UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND TO THE ELECTION EXPENSE
ACCOUNT TO COVER COST OF SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY REGISTRAR-RECORDER/COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE

WHEREAS, during the calendar year 2003, the City of Lynwood held two
(2) elections; and
WHEREAS, The City Clerk's Office included an election expense line-
item in its FY 2003/04 departmental operating budget; and
WHEREAS, election expenses have incurred beyond the allocated
amount; and
WHEREAS, an invoice was received from Registrar-Recorder/County
Clerk's Office requesting an amount of $50,768 for previous services rendered.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the request for an additional appropriation of $50,768
is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to
amend the FY 2003/04 Operating Budget to transfer the following:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
