A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO BANNAOUN ENGINEERS-CONSTRUCTORS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$515,750.00 FOR THE CARLIN AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, (BULLIS ROAD TO
ATLANTIC AVENUE), PROJECT NUMBER 05-5254, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT".
WHEREAS, the Carlin Avenue Street Improvement Project, Project No. 05-5254 is scheduled for
completion during the FY 2003-2004; and
WHEREAS, the Carlin Avenue Street Improvement Project is funded by PROP. C Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 19, 2004 and Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors
was the apparent lowest bidder at $515,750.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary experience for
this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order
and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Carlin Avenue Street Improvement Project, Project
Number 05-5254, be awarded to Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors, for its low bid of $515,750.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between the City
of Lynwood and Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
