HomeMy Public PortalAbout15372 Park Drive Sanitary Relief (Engelholm Avenue) (12163)ORDINANCE NO. 15372 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Park Drive Sanitary Relief (Engelholm Avenue) (12163) in the City of Pagedale, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21878 with Kolb Grading, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction . WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Four Million Two Hundred Twenty -Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars ($4,227,779 .0 0) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Eight Hundred Seventy- Two Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-One Dollars ($872,221.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($5,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Park Drive Sanitary Relief (Engelholm Avenue) (12163) in the City of Pagedale, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21878 with Kolb Grading, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Park Drive Sanitary Relief (Engelholm Avenue) (12163) in the City of Pagedale, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 11th day of February, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on March 16, 2020.
