A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO C. T. & F, INC. IN THE AMOUNT
OF $312,249 FOR THE SCHOOL CROSSWALKS IMPROVEMENT
IN-PAVEMENT FLASHING LIGHTS INSTALLATION, PROJECT NO.
5-5275, FY 2003-2004, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the School Crosswalks Improvement In-pavement Flashing Lights
Installation Project, Project No. 5-5275, is listed in the Capital Improvement Project for
FY 2003-2004; and
WHEREAS, the School Crosswalks Improvement In-pavement Flashing Lights
Installation Project is funded by the Safe Routes To School Program Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 1, 2004, and C. T. & F., Inc. was
the lowest apparent bidder at $312,249; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the School Crosswalks
In-pavement Flashing Lights Installation Project, Project No. 5-5275,
C. T. & F., Inc. for its bid of $312,249.

Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and C. T. & F., Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of June 2004.
