A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004105 TO
REFLECT OPERATIONAL CHANGES
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted its biennial budget for FY 2003/05; and
WHEREAS, several budget workshops were held prior to adopting the budget; and
WHEREAS, several proposed changes to the budget have been presented to the City
Council for review; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has proposed recommendations to the City Council
relative to the requested operational changes.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
..Section 1. Approve and authorize the following operational changes:
a) Transfer of Administrative Assistant from City Manager's Office to Environmental
Services/Water Utility Services and replace position with an Office Assistant I1.
b) Approve position title change of Administrative Analyst II to Deputy City Clerk in
the City Clerk's Office.
c) Transfer of Parking Control and Business License operations from Finance &
Administration to Development Services.
d) Reclassify position of Special Assistant/Development Services to Director of
Development Services.
e) Change Planning Manager position to Planning Associate
f) Add a Building Maintenance Worker position to the Environmental Services
Department.
g) Change p/t Office Assistant I (Recreation & Community Services) to Office
Assistant I full-time.
Section 2. Amend the FY 2004~05 to reflect the following appropriations:

Section 3. That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to amend the FY
2004/05 Annual Operating Budget as noted in Section 2 above.
_Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
