AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND
ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST PARTICULAR LOTS AND TRACTS OF
LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING THE 1200 AND 1300 BLOCKS OF MORELAND
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
SAID CURB AND SIDEWALK.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per
front foot as specified in Section 2 of this ordinance, against particular lots and tracts of
land fronting and abutting the 1200 and 1300 blocks of Moreland Avenue in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said curb and sidewalk, the sum of
$8,156.00 as the total remaining assessable costs of the improvement of said curb and
sidewalk.
Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said curb and
sidewalk, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $10.00 as a special tax
against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said sidewalk, and contained in
such lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting said improved curb and sidewalk.
Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of
each lot or piece of ground fronting and abutting on each side of said curb and sidewalk
and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots
or tracts of land so owned and abutting each side of said curb and sidewalk and the
cost price per foot for said improvement and the amount herby levied and assessed as
special tax for said improvements against each lot or tract of ground fronting or abutting
said curb and sidewalk is listed as follows:

accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to said work.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its date
of passage and approval. /
