A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
OR HER DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE FUNDS APPROPRIATION
AND TRANSFER FOR THE ANTI-CRUISING PROGRAM ON
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO
PERFORM THE WORK THOUGH AN INFORMAL BIDDING
PROCESS
WHEREAS, the City Council, on November 4, 2003, approved the
implementation of the Anti-cruising Program on Long Beach Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the program includes installation of certain traffic control devices on
abutting residential streets, which has been estimated to cost $11,000; and
WHEREAS, this program can be more expeditiously implemented through an
informal bidding process; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code Section 6-3.13 allows the City
Council to approve the informal bidding process with a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
S~ection 1: That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer for the Long Beach Boulevard Anti-cruising Program
as follows:

That staff is authorized to implement this program through an informal
