A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO THE
DESTRUCTION OF RECORDS
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood has retained certain liability and
worker's compensation records for the required period which are no longer a
requisite; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 34090 permits the head of a City
department to destroy any City records, documents, instrument, after the same is
no longer required; and
WHEREAS, storage space is needed for newer records.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, determine, resolve and order as follows:
Section 1. Approve destruction of liability and worker's compensation files
from 1998 and before as identified by the City's third party administrators, Colen
and Lee and Carl Warren and Co.
Section 2.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this
This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
