A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICAT!ON PLAN FOR THE REVISED POSITION
DESCRIPTIONS OF PARKING CONTROL OFFICER AND NEIGHBORHOOD
PRESERVATION SPECIALIST CLASSIFICATIONS TO INCLUDE THE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT OF PENAL CODE SECTION 832
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an
Employee Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as
needed; and
WHEREAS, the City has identified a need to include a special requirement
of Penal Code Section 832, Powers of Arrest and Seizures, to the job description
of Parking Control Officer and Neighborhood Preservation Specialist; and
WHEREAS, a classification statement has been prepared and reviewed
by the Personnel Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan to reflect
the revised job statement inclusive of the special requirement of PC 832, Powers
of Arrest and Seizures.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
