A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO BANNAOUN ENGINEERS-CONSTRUCTORS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $187,175.00 FOR THE LYNWOOD ROAD
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, (ALAMEDA STREET TO STATE STREET),
PROJECT NUMBER 05-5283, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT,,.
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Road Street Improvement Project, Project No. 05-
5283 is scheduled for completion during the FY 2003-2004; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Road Street Improvement Project is funded by PROP.
C Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on July 7, 2004 and Bannaoun Engineers-
Constructors was the apparent lowest bidder at $187,175.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Lynwood Road Street Improvement
Project, Project Number 05-5283, be awarded to Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors, for
its low bid of$187,175.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Bannaoun Engineers-Constructors.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3ra day of August 2004.
