AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Seventy-Two Thousand Dollars
($872,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Two Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand
Dollars ($288,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek to be used for sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal in
Duchesne and Gott I/I Reduction (11739) in the Cities of Florissant, Hazelwood, and the Village
of Calverton Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20364 with
Pavement Solutions, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is
One Million Fifty-Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Six Dollars ($1,059,956.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Thousand
Forty-Four Dollars ($100,044.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Seventy-Two Thousand Dollars
($872,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and the sum of Two
Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($288,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek for sanitary
sewer construction and private I/I removal in Duchesne and Gott I/I Reduction (11739) in the
Cities of Florissant, Hazelwood, and the Village of Calverton Park, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20364 with Pavement Solutions, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction and private I/I removal in Duchesne and Gott I/I Reduction (11739) in the Cities of
Florissant, Hazelwood, and the Village of Calverton Park, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on
the 19th day of November 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
