AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($460,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Desmet Industrial Ct. Lot 8 Bank
Stabilization (10332) in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract No. 20362 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid channel
stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Four Hundred Thirty-Seven
Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($437,989.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Twenty-Two Thousand Eleven Dollars ($22,011.00);
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($460,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek for channel stabilization in Desmet Industrial Ct. Lot 8 Bank Stabilization
(10332) in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20362 with Ideal Landscape Construction, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel
stabilization in Desmet Industrial Ct. Lot 8 Bank Stabilization (10332) in the City of Florissant,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 13th day of November 2015.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
