HomeMy Public PortalAbout14304 Stansberry Ave 39262 Strom Sewer (11039)ORDINANCE NO. 14304 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($445,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Stansberry Ave #9262 Storm Sewer (11039) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20309 with Bi-State Utilities Company for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Two Hundred Eighty- Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-One Dollars ($287,991.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Nine Dollars ($157,009.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($445,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek for storm sewer construction in Stansberry Ave #9262 Storm Sewer (11039) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20309 with Bi-State Utilities Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Stansberry Ave #9262 Storm Sewer (11039) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 27th day of October 2015. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on January 14, 2016.
