AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Six Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand
Dollars ($1,696,000.00) from the General Fund to be used for the preparation of a master plan
for the District’s wastewater treatment plants in Comprehensive Ammonia and Nutrient Removal
Master Plan (12070) throughout the District; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20337 with Black & Veatch Corporation for the aforesaid master plan preparation.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Six Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand Dollars
($1,696,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund for the for the preparation of a
master plan for the District’s wastewater treatment plants in Comprehensive Ammonia and
Nutrient Removal Master Plan (12070) throughout the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No.
20337 with Black & Veatch Corporation for the preparation of a master plan for the District’s
wastewater treatment plants in Comprehensive Ammonia and Nutrient Removal Master Plan
(12070) throughout the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on October 8, 2015.
