AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars
($835,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction
and private I/I removal in Florissant I/I Reduction (11748) in the Cities of Florissant, Ferguson,
Hazelwood, and the Village of Calverton Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract No. 20376 with Pavement Solutions, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer construction
and private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction and private I/I removal is
Six Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Four and 22/100 Dollars
($687,424.22) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is
One Hundred Forty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Five and 78/100 Dollars
($147,575.78); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars
($835,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
construction and private I/I removal in Florissant I/I Reduction (11748) in the Cities of
Florissant, Ferguson, Hazelwood, and the Village of Calverton Park, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20376 with Pavement Solutions, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction and private I/I removal in Florissant I/I Reduction (11748) in the Cities of
Florissant, Ferguson, Hazelwood, and the Village of Calverton Park, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received on the 28th day of January 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 14, 2016
