AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars
($145,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Gravois Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Redland Dr. – Tahquitz Dr. Storm
Sewer (11360) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract No. 20538 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is One Hundred Ten
Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($110,630.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project expenses is Thirty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Seventy Dollars
($34,370.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars
($145,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, and
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek for storm sewer construction in Redland Dr. – Tahquitz Dr.
Storm Sewer (11360) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20538 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer
construction in Redland Dr. – Tahquitz Dr. Storm Sewer (11360) in Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 17th day of February, 2017.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 13, 2017.
