AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
($2,075,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer rehabilitation
in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2018) Contract B (12015) in the City of St. Louis and
Various Municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract No. 21639 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC for the aforesaid sanitary sewer
rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer rehabilitation is Two Million Twelve
Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Nine and 65/100 Dollars ($2,012,689.65) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Sixty-Two Thousand Three Hundred
Ten and 35/100 Dollars ($62,310.35); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
($2,075,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer
rehabilitation in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2018) Contract B (12015) in the City of
St. Louis and Various Municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being
comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 21639 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for
sanitary sewer rehabilitation in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2018) Contract B (12015)
in the City of St. Louis and Various Municipalities in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received on the 16th day of February, 2018.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 12, 2018.
