ΓÇô Uceyle Ave. Storm Sewer (11304)ORDINANCE NO. 15131 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($265,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of University City to be used for storm sewer construction in Lackland Rd. – Uceyle Ave. Storm Sewer (11304) in the City of Overland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21768 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Two Hundred Twenty- Three Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars ($223,295.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Forty-One Thousand Seven Hundred Five Dollars ($41,705.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand Dollars ($265,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, Construction, Improvement Fund of University City for storm sewer construction in Lackland Rd. – Uceyle Ave. Storm Sewer (11304) in the City of Overland, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21768 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in Lackland Rd. – Uceyle Ave. Storm Sewer (11304) in the City of Overland, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 19th day of February, 2019. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on April 11, 2019.
