AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal in Chapel Hill I/I Reduction
(Mattis Rd and Venarde Dr) (12119) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20436 with ABNA Engineering, Inc. for the
aforesaid private I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal is Forty-Four Thousand Nine
Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars ($44,999.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and
other project expenses is Five Thousand One Dollars ($5,001.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal in Chapel Hill I/I
Reduction (Mattis Rd and Venarde Dr) (12119) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20436 with ABNA Engineering, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal
in Chapel Hill I/I Reduction (Mattis Rd and Venarde Dr) (12119) in Unincorporated St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 22nd day of June 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 11, 2016.
