AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Four Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($2,470,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for public I/I removal in
Martigney Public I/I Reduction (11930) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20414 with Insituform Technologies USA,
LLC for the aforesaid public I/I removal.
WHEREAS, the bid for said public I/I removal is Two Million Three Hundred
Forty-Eight Thousand Six Hundred Seven and 75/100 Dollars ($2,348,607.75) and the allowance
for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Twenty-One
Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-Two and 25/100 Dollars ($121,392.25); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Four Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($2,470,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for public I/I
removal in Martigney Public I/I Reduction (11930) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 20414 with Insituform Technologies USA, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for public
I/I removal in Martigney Public I/I Reduction (11930) in Unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 31st day of May 2016.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 11, 2016.
