HomeMy Public PortalAbout14416 Sterling Place Separate Sewer II Removal (11667)ORDINANCE NO. 14416 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,700,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Sterling Place Separate Sewer I/I Removal (11667) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20435 with Pavement Solutions, LLC for the aforesaid private I/I removal and storm sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said private I/I removal and storm sewer construction Two Million Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Two Hundred Eleven Dollars ($2,460,211.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Hundred Thirty- Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($239,789.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Sterling Place Separate Sewer I/I Removal (11667) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 20435 with Pavement Solutions, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for private I/I removal and storm sewer construction in Sterling Place Separate Sewer I/I Removal (11667) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 23rd day of June 2016. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing ordinance was adopted on August 11, 2016.
