HomeMy Public PortalAbout15396 Vance Rd Pump Station (P-472) Upgrades (12490)ORDINANCE NO. 15396 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4 ,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Vance Rd Pump Station (P-472) Upgrades (12490) in the City of Valley Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21896 with KCI Construction Company for the aforesaid pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is Four Million Three Hundred Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars ($4,325,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00 ); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Vance Rd Pump Station (P-472) Upgrades (12490) in the City of Valley Park, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21896 with KCI Construction Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Vance Rd Pump Station (P-472) Upgrades (12490) in the City of Valley Park, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 8 th day of April, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 11, 2020.
