HomeMy Public PortalAbout15397 Whitney Pointe Dr No. 2210 Channel Improvements (11618)ORDINANCE NO. 15397 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($660,000.00 ) from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund to be used for channel stabilization in Whitney Pointe Dr. #2210 Channel Improvements (11618) in the City of Clarkson Valley, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21905 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for the aforesaid channel stabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Five Hundred Ninety -Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine and 99/100 Dollars ($599,999.99) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Sixty Thousand and 01/100 Dollars ($60,000.0 1); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($660,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Districtwide Stormwater Fund for channel stabilization in Whitney Pointe Dr. #2210 Channel Improvements (11618) in the City of Clarkson Valley , Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 21905 with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Whitney Pointe Dr. #2210 Channel Improvements (11618) in the City of Clarkson Valley , Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 1 7 th day of April, 2020. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on June 11, 2020.
