AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 2002 SANITARY SEWER
CLEANING AND TELEVISING / BOROUGH OF CARTERET ANNUAL
SEWER SYSTEM
wHEREAS, the Borough of Car~eret requires the furnishing of sanitary sewer
cleaning and televising services for the annual sewer system cleaning for 2002; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has solicited and received quotes for these
services as follows:
$16,362.00
1. Oswald Enterprises, Inc.
$16,560.00
2. Wastewater Management
3. National Water Main Cleaning Company $ 37,455.00
No bid submitted
4. D&D Utility Contractors
WHEREAS, Oswald Enterprises, Inc. submitted the lowest quote for said
services as evidenced by the response on file in the Office of the Borough Engineer and
Borough Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed the above quotes and
recommended the award of the contract to Oswald Enterprises, Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to
emer into a contract with Oswald Enterprises, Inc. to furnish sanitary
sewer cleaning and televising services for the sum of $16,362.00 in
accordance with the request for proposals and bid on same, a copy of
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Adopted this 16th day May, 2002
and certified as a true copy of
the original on May 17, 2002.
