AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY ADDING NEW SECTION 4508 TO THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO CHARITABLE SOLICITATION PERMITS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. A new Section 4508 reading as follows is
hereby added to the Temple City Municipal Code:
Sec. 4508. Delegation to City Manager.
During the time this Section remains in effect, the
responsibilities and prerogatives imposed by this
Section upon the City Council are hereby delegated
in the first instance to the City Manager. Any
person dissatisfied with the decision of the City Manager,
may appeal such decision to the City Council whereupon
the decision of the City Manager shall be vacated and
the City Council shall exercise its prerogatives as set
forth in this Chapter.
SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of
Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of December,
1967.

I, Karl L. Koski, City Clerk of the City of Temple City,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 67 -252, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Temple City, held on the 21st day of
November, 1967, and was duly passed, approved and adopted by
said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and attested by
the City Clerk at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 5th day of December, 1967, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilman- Beckley
