HomeMy Public PortalAbout018-2006 Aviation & Butler, Fairman & SeufertAGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES I day of c,� r U A-r_ , in the year 2006, by This Agreement made the Y and between the CITY OF RICHMOND BOARD OAIRMANIOand SSEUFERION INC., hereinafter called the OWNER, and BUTLER, hereinafter called the ENGINEER, witnesseth that whereas, the OWNER intends to retain the ENGINEER for the following: General Engineering Services Agreement Now therefore, the OWNER and the ENGINEER, for the consideration hereinafter named, agree as follows: BASIC SERVICES: The ENGINEER agrees to perform as directed by OWNER or OWNER's designated representative for the OWNER the following engineering services that may be required, namely: 1. The ENGINEER shall provide engineering services as directed by the OWNER. 2. Consult with OWNER and its agents upon request of the OWNER. 3. Consult with any and all governmental agencies reasonably necessary in order to render advice or services requested. 4. Upon request by the OWNER, furnish plans and documents necessary for projects in relation to this Contract. The OWNER agrees to compensate the ENGINEER for all services rendered under this Agreement on the basis of actual hours of work performed on the subject project at the direct salary and wages of each employee, (approximate hourly rate schedule by classification attached) plus direct labor times a multiplier of 1.80. Hourly Rate Schedule shall be approved on a yearly basis. In addition to the hourly fees indicated above, tee EN GINEER shall be compensated for direct project -related expenses such as lob rela Payment shall be made by the OWNER to the ENGINEER each month as the work progresses. Invoices submitted by the ENGINEER to the OWNER shall clearly identify the project or type of service provided. The OWNER and the ENGINEER hereby agree to the full performance of the covenants contained herein.
