ORDINANCE NO. 67 -254
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
RE- ENACTING, RE- ADOPTING AND CODIFYING
ORDINANCE NO. 66 -178 AND DECLARING THIS
ORDINANCE TO BE AN URGENCY ORDINANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that in
the adoption of the new Zoning Code, Ordinance No. 67 -238, the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 66 -178 were inadvertantly not codified therein,
and that the provisions of Ordinance No. 66 -178 are of importance and
necessity to the City of Temple City and the protection of it's resi-
dents; and that it is necessary to codify the same forthwith as an
urgency ordinance in order to maintain the intent of the City Council
toward incorporating the provisions thereof into the Zoning Code.<
SECTION- 2. Ordinance No. 66 -178 is hereby re- adopted and
codified into the new Zoning Code as adopted by Ordinance No. 67 -238,
and the section numbers thereof shall be renumbered and codified into
Article IX of the Temple City Municipal Code as Part 16 thereof
commencing with Section 9480.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk declares this Ordinance shall
become imediately effective for the reasons above set forth.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in the
Temple City Times, a newspaper of general circulation,• printed, pub-
lished and circulated in the City of Temple City.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 67 -254,
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Temple City, held on the 21st day of November, 1967, and was duly
passed, approved, and adopted by said Council as an urgency ordinance
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on November 21, 1967,
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen= Briggs, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Harker
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilmen -None
