AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
RE- ENACTING, RE- ADOPTING AND CODIFYING
ORDINANCE NO. 66 -178
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that in
the adoption of the new Zoning Code, Ordinance No. 67 -238, the pro -
visions of Ordinance No. 66 -178 were inadvertently not codified
therein, and that the prbvisions of Ordinance No. 66 -178 are of
importance and necessity to the City of Temple City and the protec-
tion of it's residents; and that it is necessary to codify the same
forthwith in order to maintain the intent of the City Council to-
ward incorporating the provisions thereof into the Zoning Code.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 66 -178 is hereby re- adopted and
codified into the new Zoning Code as adopted by Ordinance No. 67 -238,
and the section numbers thereof shall be renumbered and codified
into Article IX of the Temple City Municipal Code as Part 16 thereof
commencing with Section 9480.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and
to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be publish-
ed in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Temple City.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance being Ordinance No.
67 -254A, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Temple City, held on the 21st day of November, 1967, and
was duly passed,' approved, and adopted ;by said Council at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on December 5, 1967, by the follow-
ing roll call vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen -None
ABSENT: Councilman - Beckley
