AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL NON-
REVERTING CAPITAL FUND FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
PARKS AND RECREATION
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, under Indiana
Code 36- 10 -4 -16 is empowered to create a special non - reverting capital fund for the purpose of
acquiring land or making capital improvements.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle.
Indiana, as follows:
Section 1. There is hereby established a special non - reverting capital fund created for
the purpose of acquiring land or making improvements for parks and recreation purposes from
which expenditures may be made by appropriation by the Council.
Section 2. The non - reverting capital fund shall be funded from monies and fees

procured from the operation of the Greencastle Aquatics Center (the "Center'), in that $5,000
shall be taken from year end cash balance and placed in the non - reverting capital fund.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage as
approved by law.
