• AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO TCI OF INDIANA, INC.,
TO OWN, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CABLE TELEVISION SYSTEM IN
THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE; SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS
ACCOMPANYING THE GRANT OF THE FRANCHISE; PROVIDING FOR
REGULATION AND USE OF THE SYSTEM; AND PRESCRIBING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS.
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle desires to grant a
franchise for the continued development and operation of a Cable
Television System; and
WHEREAS, TCI of Indiana, Inc. has presented and negotiated
with the City a franchise agreement; and
WHEREAS, by the terms of the Agreement, it is to be
effective November 15, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the
Ciry of Greencastle that the attached Franchise Agreement dated
November 3, 1997, be approved and made a part of this Ordinance.
PASSED AND Adopted by the Common Council of the City of
