AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY — COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY AMEND1NG.CERTAIN OF THE ZONING
REGULATIONS OF THE CITY-WITH- RE:FERE:NCE TO
AUTOMOBILE CAR WASHES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION .1. That Subparagraph A, of Section 9390 of the
Temple City Municipal Code, is hereby amended by deleting Subpara-
graph (18) thereof, in its entirety.
SECTION 2. That Section 9400 of the Temple City Munici-
pal Code, is hereby amended by deleting. Subparagraph (40) thereof,
in its entirety.
SECTION 3. That Section 9202 of the Temple City Munici-
pal Code is hereby amended by adding Subparagraph 4(a) thereto,
to read as follows:
"4(a) Car washes (automatic coin operated,
mechanical or by hand) provided that
the same shall not be permitted upon
any property zoned ' R' "
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same .to..be publish-
ed in the manner prescribed by law.

68 -259, was introduced at a .regular meeting of the City Council
of the City. of Temple. City,.: held on the 2nd day of January, 1968, and
was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved and
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of February , 1968,
by the following. vote:
AYES: Councilmen- Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Councilmen- None
ABSENT: Councilmen- Beckley
