SUBJECT: Holiday Fun Camp
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to advise you of the Holiday Fun Camp to be
conducted by the Parks and Public Spaces, Recreation Division during the holiday season
school break.
In order to provide our resident children eight (8) years of age and under with an opportunity
to enjoy the facilities of Bal Harbour Park and participate in programmed activities, a holiday
fun camp will be offered. This camp offering was developed as a result of direct
communication with resident park users and their expression of interest in the organization
of these activities during this period.
The Parks Division tracks attendees of recreation clinics and events throughout the year,
and has reached out to these families for participation in the camp.
The camp will be conducted on beginning December 23-24, 26, 29-31, 2014 from 10:00 am
until Noon.
Activities to be offered include;
• Organized Games
• Skill Contests
• Basketball Skills Clinics
• Kick Ball games
• Fun in the Spray Park
