SUBJECT: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)- Roadway Project Notification
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to transmit the Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT) Roadway Project Notification for roadway construction scheduled to
begin the week of January 19, 2015.
This project will extend along 96'h Street and Kane Concourse from west of West Broadview
Drive to the Indian Creek Bridge.
Attached is the notice from the Florida Department of Transportation for your review and
reference.

Dear Mr. Gonzalez:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to begin construction of a
roadway project the week of January 19, 2015. The project limits extend along SR 922/96
Street/Kane Concourse from west of West Broadview Drive to the Indian Creek Bridge in Miami -
Dade County. This project will cost an estimated $1.5 million and will take roughly seven months to
complete.
To build this project safely, it will be necessary to periodically close travel lanes.
Construction will be done in stages to minimize impacts to the public and special events and peak
periods of traffic. The department will make sure that traffic continues to flow safely through the
work zone.
As part of our commitment to inform the public about projects that will help our community,
the enclosed project fact sheet will be distributed to interested parties and residents throughout the

construction project along SR 922/96 Street/Kane Concourse from west of West Broadview Drive to the Indian Creek Bridge in
