AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AMENDING SECTION 9208 OF THE TEMPLE CITY
MUNICIPAL CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Section 9208 of the Temple City Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read -as follows:
Sec. 9208, Planning Commission Action.
Within a reasonable time after the public hearing
upon a Variance or Conditional Use Permit application,
the Commission shall, by Resolution adopted by not less
than three (3) affirmative votes, approve, condition-
ally approve or deny the same. Said Resolution shall
contain a statement of facts upon which the decision
is based. Within two (2) days following the adoption
of the Resolution by the Commission, the Director shall
forward a copy thereof, by United States mail, postage
prepaid, addressed to the applicant and any other
person requesting the same, at his last known address.
The decision of the Planning Commission shall be final
and conclusive at 12 :00 P.M. of the tenth (10th) day
following the date of adoption of the Resolution by
the Commission, or at 12:00 P.M. of the day following
the next regularly scheduled Council meeting, which -
ever date is the latest, in the absence of the filing
of a written appeal, -in the manner hereinafter speci-
fied. Upon the filing of an appeal in the manner
herein set forth, the decision of the Planning Com-
mission shall be suspended and of no force and effect.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published
in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of April
1968.

Council held on the 16th day of April , 1968, by the
