Suspicious Person
10210 Collins Avenue
Narrative
Complainant called police in reference to a suspicious person who was seen jumping the wall into the
gated community. The complainant asked the suspicious person what he was doing and then waited
(10 minute time delay) before calling the police. The male matched the description of a subject of a
burglary that had occurred earlier in Sunny Isles Beach. BHPD Units canvassed the area for the
subject with negative results. The Officers briefed the main gate guard as well as Bal Harbour Shops
Security. Shops security advised that a staff member had observed a subject matching the
description by the North parking lot of the shops. Security Guard advised that the subject exited the
premises prior to them making notification to the police department. Bulletin issued for all officers to
be on the lookout for the suspect's general description.
