OFFICE OF THE VILLAGE MANAGER
NO. 019-2015 LETTER TO COUNCIL
TO: Mayor Martin Packer and Members of the Village Council
FROM: Jorge M. Gonzalez, Village Manager
DATE: January 30, 2015
SUBJECT: Council Workshop — Bal Harbour Shops Expansion Project
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you an update on the logistics and
preparation for the Council Workshop regarding the Bal Harbour Shops Expansion Project,
which is scheduled as follows:
Council Workshop on the
Bal Harbour Shops Expansion Project
Monday, February 2, 2015
Sea View Hotel
9909 Collins Avenue
Crystal Ballroom
7:00 p.m.
Attached for your information is a draft agenda for the Workshop. The agenda was
developed to ensure that the workshop provides ample time for presentation, as well as
audience participation.
In addition, I have attached a preliminary rough draft of the Power Point presentation, which
is still being edited and revised by the project team. Although it is a work in progress and
will probably undergo additional revisions prior to Monday's workshop, I wanted to provide
you with a general concept of the Village's presentation.
An important component to the Council Workshop is the notification of interested
stakeholders. As such, in an effort to broadly notify residents, businesses and interested
stakeholders Village -wide, a variety of communications approaches have been deployed to
advertise the workshop.
