AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE ORDINANCE NO. 9375
OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES RELATING TO
THE PUBLIC HEALTH CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council finds and determines that it
has placed on file with the City Clerk three copies of Ordinance
No. 9375 adopted on August 11, 1967, as an amendment to the
County Public Health Code, (Los Angeles County Ordinance No.
7583) by the County of Los Angeles, being a comprehensive health
code for the County of Los Angeles and those cities within the
County of Los Angeles being served by the County Health Officer.
SECTION 2. Said Ordinance No. 9375 is hereby adopted as
the health ordinance of the City of Temple City and each and
every reference therein to the County or any County officer is
hereby designated to relate to the City of Temple City and
respective City Officer.
The County Health Officer is hereby redesignated as the
Health Officer for the City of Temple City.
SECTION 3. PENALTY. Any person, firm or corporation
violating this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not
more than $500.00, or by imprisonment in the City or County
Jail for a period of not to exceed six (6) months, or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to
be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in. the City of
Temple City.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No.
68 -264, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Temple City, held on the 2nd day of April, 1968,
and was duly passed, approved and adopted by said Council, ap-
proved and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 16th day of
April , 1968, by the following vote:
