AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A POLICE ✓� �i\�
• TRAINING CLASS FUND & APPROPRIATION
Whereas, the Greencastle City Police Department is required to provide pre -basic training
to new police officers; and
Whereas, pre -basic training may be provided for policemen employed by other
communities; and
Whereas, costs of such training are refundable from training and education funds and
from tuition paid by the departments, and
Whereas, a separate fund for deposits and expenditures should be established.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that a separate fund designated Police Training Class
Fund 268, Appropriation #268006500, be established under the supervision of the Clerk -
Treasurer of the City of Greencastle subject to the rules as set forth for other funds of similar
nature. Surplus funds carried over each year shall remain in such fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana this
