SUBJECT: Spring Egg Hunt at Bal Harbour Park
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to provide you with a report on the Spring Egg Hunt
event held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Bal Harbour Park. It is
estimated that over 130 residents attended the event.
The highlight of this event was the Egg Hunt, conducted in two phases - one for younger children,
followed by one for older children. In addition to treat -filled eggs, golden eggs were strategically
hidden throughout the park area with an award given to the finders. Additionally, the event
included other family -friendly activities for residents, including:
• Decorating Beach Buckets
• Egg Roll Relay
• Giant Marshmallow Madness Dash
• Spring Theme Photo Booth
Residents were treated to complimentary ice cream pops in chocolate, vanilla, and fruit flavors
and complimentary commemorative photos taken at the spring theme photo booth.
