HomeMy Public PortalAboutRES 86/11RESOLUTION NO. 86 -11 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING MEMBERS OF THE LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THEIR SERVICE TO THE TOWN ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN ADMINISTRATION AND TOWN RESIDENTS. WHEREAS, the Long Range Planning Committee was appointed by the Gulf Stream Civic Association during 1983 to meet and survey the needs of the Town concerning roads, dredging, drainage, new Town Hall and police facilities; and WHEREAS, Donald C. Dayton, Chairman, William A. Lynch, Mrs. William F. Souder, Jr., and William A. Mayer, were appointed as members of the Long Range Planning Committee; and WHEREAS, these committee members have generously given their time, expertise and personal attention to the Town and have served to improve the public safety and well -being of its residents; and WHEREAS, the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream for itself and for the citizens of the Town wish to give thanks for the valuable contributions of the Long Range Planning Committee during the past three years; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. The Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream hereby expresses, on behalf of the Town administration and Town residents, its deep appreciation and gratitude to Donald C. Dayton, as Chairman, William A. Lynch, Mrs. William F. Souder, Jr., and William A. Mayer for their generous contribution to the Town. Section 2. A copy of this Resolution shall be presented to each committee member and shall be made a permanent record of the Town as tribute to their fine service. PASSED AND ADOPTED in a regular, adjourned session assembled this 5th day of December , 1986. ATTEST: TOWN CLERK
