A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE
TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, RECOGNIZING
MEMBERS OF THE BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE
AND EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THEIR SERVICE
TO THE TOWN ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN ADMINISTRA-
TION AND TOWN RESIDENTS.
WHEREAS, the Beautification Committee was appointed
in 1985 by the Gulf Stream Civic Association to coordinate the
decorating of the new Town Hall; and
WHEREAS, Marilyn Mayer, as Chairman, Katharine Cross,
Joan Orthwein, Kathleen Wallace, and James E. Cross were appointed
as members of the Beautification Committee; and
WHEREAS, these committee members have generously given
their time, expertise, and personal attention to the Town and
have served to improve the beauty, overall appearance and function
of the new Town Hall; and
WHEREAS, the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream
for itself and its citizens wishes to give thanks for the valuable
contributions of these committee members; and
WHEREAS, the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream
also wishes to recognize the invaluable service provided by
Thomas 0. Boucher, William F. Souder, Jr., and Franklin P. O'Brien
who contributed to the success of this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION
OF THE TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The Town Commission of the Town of Gulf
Stream hereby expresses, on behalf of the Town Administration
and Town residents, its deep appreciation and gratitude to Marilyn
Mayer, as Chairman, Katharine Cross, Joan Orthwein, Kathleen
Wallace, James E. Cross, Thomas O. Boucher, William F. Souder,
Jr. and Franklin P. O'Brien for their generous contributions
to the Town.
Section 2. A copy of this Resolution shall be presented
to each of these individuals and shall be made a permanent record
of the Town as a tribute to their fine service.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in a regular, adjourned session
assembled this 5th day of December 1986.
