The Senate will meet again tomorrow to handle several issues that remain on their plate. We know that the Legislature will be back in a special session on the budget in May or June. The exact dates have not been set at this point. As we updated you last week, we remain focused on your budget related priorities and projects, which will be decided in the special session. You can look forward to a final report on substantive issues in the coming days, and we will continue to communicate information as we get it. A copy of that memorandum is attached. They have not yet released the special session proclamation, which is the official document that will outline the matters the Legislature will consider during the special session. Obviously, we know that they will be meeting for purposes of discussing the state budget, but it is possible that they could include additional matters that are a priority for the President and the Speaker.
