TOURISM BOARD LOGO/COLLATERAL
MATERIAL SUBCOMMITTEE
Wednesday, June 5, 2017
7:15p.m., Town Barn
Present: Kim Tesoro, Mary Catherine McKee
Staff: Shannan Campbell (Town of Hillsborough)
Other: None.
I. Call Meeting to Order
Member McKee called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.
II. Agenda Adoption
Motion: Member Tesoro motioned to adopt.
Second: Member McKee seconded.
Vote: Unanimous.
III. Consideration of Minutes May 22, 2017
Motion: Member McKee motioned to table the minutes as they weren’t complete yet.
Second: Member Tesoro seconded.
Vote: Unanimous.
IV. Review and comment on initial visitors guide design
Ms. Campbell indicated that this was just the design outline and much of the information was
incorrect, some of it was still in Latin as a placeholder, and the pictures were not all of
Hillsborough. She said that the design firm wants to make sure that the group likes the overall
design concept before going too far into adding the content.
The members agreed to remove ‘Downtown Hillsborough’ since the guide would cover all of
town. Also, they wanted the logo larger overlaid the cover page. The members discussed the fact
that they really liked the cover photo. Ms. Campbell said that they did not own that photograph
and that she would find out where it came from and inquire about purchasing it. The members
discussed liking the overall concept and really liked the large food photographs.
Member McKee indicated that the letters on the pictures corresponding with the place was a
good idea.

Second: Member Carroll seconded.
