ORDINANCE NO. 68-273
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY AMENDING SECTION 2371 OF THE
TEMPLE CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO HOLIDAYS,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1, Section 2371 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
2371, Holidays
All employees shall be entitled to the following
legal holidays each year:
January 1
February 22
March or April
May 30
July 4
September (1st Monday)
November 11
November (4th Thursday)
December 25
New Year's Day
Washington's Birthday
Good Friday - 12 :00 to 3 :00
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veteran's Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following
Monday will be the official day off; when a holiday
falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday will be the
official day off.
SECTION 2, The City Clerk of the City of Temple City
shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance
and to its approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same
to be published in the Temple City Times, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published and circulated in
the City of Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of
September , 19680

I, KARL KOSKI, City Clerk of the City of Temple City,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance, being
Ordinance No. 68 -273 , was introduced at a regular
meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City,
held on the 3rd day of September, 1968, and was duly
passed, approved and adopted by said Council, approved
and signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
17th day of September, 1968, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen - Beckley, Harker, Merritt, Tyrell, Briggs
NOES: Counci lmen-None
