Burglary/Commercial Vehicle
(Bal Harbour Shops)
Narrative / Comments
A burglary of a commercial vehicle was reported at the Bal Harbour Shops. The vehicle was
delivering merchandise to Valentino, located in the shops. The delivery driver parked the vehicle
in the loading zone and secured the cargo door with a pad lock. Upon returning to the vehicle he
noticed that the pad lock had been cut open and property had been removed from the cargo area.
Video surveillance footage of the loading zone was examined revealing a male cutting the pad
lock with what appears to be a set of bolt cutters, remove merchandise from the delivery truck and
load it in an awaiting vehicle parked in the garage. A B.O.L.O. sheet was completed and
forwarded to all police agencies in the county with the photograph of the vehicle. The case
continues under investigation.
